About Rotary Peace Fellowship
The Rotary chooses up to 90 peace and development leaders from around the world to receive fully funded academic fellowships every year to pursue Professional Development Certificate Programs or Masters Degree Programs related to peace and conflict resolution and prevention at one of the participating peace centers around the world (USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Uganda).

What Are The Benefits of Rotary Peace Fellowship
The scholarship provides:
- Tuition fees
- Room and board
- Round-trip transportation
- All internship expenses will be provided.
- field-study expenses will be covered.
Rotary Peace Fellowship Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants should have three years of related work experience for the master’s program
- Applicants must have five years of related work experience for the certificate program and be able to explain how their plan to promote peace aligns with Rotary’s mission (Candidates for Makerere University must either be from Africa, have worked in Africa, or work with African communities or initiatives outside the continent.)
- Must Be proficient in English (Master’s candidates whose first language is not English must provide English language standardized test scores.)
- Must Have a bachelor’s degree (Master’s candidates must provide a copy of their transcripts.)
- Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills
- Must have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace worked in Africa, or work with African communities or initiatives outside the continent.
How to Submit Application
